We stopped by Cocina Oaxaqueña for breakfast during our trip to Eureka, and it turned out to be an excellent choice!
We ordered the Super Nachos, Super Quesadilla, and Belgian Waffles, and every dish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The ingredients tasted fresh, and everything was made to perfection.
The Super Nachos were the absolute highlight of our meal—loaded with toppings, perfectly balanced, and bursting with flavor. It’s a must-try if you’re visiting!
The Super Quesadilla was cheesy and satisfying, while the Belgian Waffles were light, fluffy, and a perfect sweet finish to the meal.
If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast in Eureka with fresh, high-quality food, Cocina Oaxaqueña is definitely worth a visit. We’ll happily return the next time we’re in town!

Food was absolutely amazing. Place seemed very authentic. Waitress was perfect, guy in the kitchen knew what he was doing. I got chilaquiles Rojo with chorizo and my girlfriend got chilaquiles verde with chicken. Idk which one was better, they were both so good. Eggs were poached perfect. Im not evern crazy about coffee but I got a Mexican mocha. SO SO GOOD. Wish I lived in the area, I would come here all the time.

I’ve never tried this type of Mexican food, so I was super excited and curious on how the food was going to be. It’s a small and clean restaurant. Our waitress was very nice and attentive! We ordered: mole oaxaqueño, milanesa, a burrito and some other oaxaqueño dish that was like a giant tostada, can’t remember the name. Everything was delicious, especially the mole! Overall great place to eat!

Highly recommend. Immediately upon walking in Warm in January. Clean bright atmosphere. Great service waitress was so nice and friendly. Freshest Mexican food I have ever tasted in a restaurant. Best mole sauce I’ve ever had hands down. Hot chocolate and white mocha were amazing. So so good.
