If you’re far from home and need some food just like your abuelita made when you were a kid, this is the right place!
Their chilaquiles rojos…ufff they’re the best!
Had a great dinner. Waitress was busy but very kind. Food was so hot and fresh. My cheese enchiladas were perfect with a crust of well done cheese on top. Food was so hot and fresh. Our family of 6 loved and we’re glad we ventured out of the hotel! We waved and thanked the lovely cook on the way out. She was very gracious and waved back.
Great experience at Cinco de Mayo! the food is delicious! the service is excellent! and prices are very reasonable I loved the place I will definitely come back and I definitely recommend it. They only accept cash but that’s ok so be prepared if you ever come or they have an ATM. Thank you Cinco de Mayo!
Tried this restaurant with my family for the first time. The food was very reasonably priced, it is CASH ONLY.
Was charged for extra salsa (each little side) – $2. This is not disclosed when requesting.
When I asked how much each extra one was, I was not given a clear answer.
Waitress was convinced she brought two but she only gave us one extra (unless I was charged for the complimentary one too). We had a party of 5, one salsa was not enough.
Would appreciate it if there was more transparency regarding pricing and possibly adding another staff member to assist.
Food was pretty good. Photos attached.
5 Cinco De Mayo is a convenient restaurant when you want good food, be left alone and don’t want to spend a lot of money. It isn’t located in the nice part of Long Beach but it still felt safe inside. There’s parking in the back of the restaurant, which is also another way to enter into the restaurant. I’ve been here lots of times when visiting friends in Long Beach and I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered. Actually the food is quite good. Its a great spot to chitchat without loud music and crowds of people. Its kinda my go-to spot in LB.
