Stopped at the Chevron in Ukiah on Perkins Street at 8:50 to refuel and use the restroom. I walked into the store and the attendant was cleaning the bathrooms with a sign up that the bathrooms are closed. I said, we stopped to fuel and use the restroom. He said he was the only one there and closing in 10 minutes. So, my thought is if he is closing up in 10 minutes, he closes and THEN cleans the bathrooms? If your open hours are until 9, then be open, including the restrooms. Also, if he is the only one there, it doesn’t seem wise to leave the store kinda unattended while you clean the bathrooms. Idk but I wasn’t too pleased. I usually seek out Chevrons on road trips but this wasn’t a pleasant exchange. He seemed annoyed at me and also snippy, “see the sign? Is says the bathrooms are closed.” I was gonna buy a snack too but just left to use the bathroom elsewhere.

My family and I had been traveling for hours. We tried to stop in for a bathroom break and snacks. The girl at the counter told us that we were not allowed to use the bathroom because it was 10 mins before they closed and she already cleaned the bathroom. She told my wife that that she can’t guarantee my wife and child won’t make a mess. We took our business elsewhere.
