I’ve eaten here many times as I’m a local. Every meal has been a WINNER! I think I’ve had almost everything on the menu and it’s always been fresh, delicious and served by the friendliest, customer service-oriented people in the area as it’s owner-operated and mostly family work here. Yolanda, the owner, is THE BEST!
You can’t go wrong eating here at Casa Velasco!

A hidden gem of a restaurant on/near Bass Lake. The food and service were excellent. Our Arroz con pollo and mole enchiladas were flavorful and in large portions. They came hot and promptly, despite being packed with customers. Kudos to the serving and kitchen staff. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We live 15 minutes from Mexico and we were thoroughly impressed with this restaurant!!! The quality of food and service is amazing. Definitely the best Mexican food I’ve had years!!!!!

This place was absolutely EPIC. With flavors that was reminiscent of “HOME” Southern NM. I was truly in AWE. The food flavors are truly outstanding. I cannot say this enough! Stop here, eat here, your life will become complete;)
