We went there twice because there didn’t seem to be much out there besides burgers and fried seafood. Service was lightening quick both times. Prices were surprisingly low, especially given quality of the food. We had: the steak burrito, the enchiladas, the tacos and the pozole. My kids loved the steak burrito. The salsa was decent. But the carnitas on the second night…crispy on top and juicy and tender underneath that. Friendly servers too. Drew a crowded restaurant both nights even though they were weeknights.

We love going to Carmelas. The staff is always nice and even when it’s really busy I’ve always received good service. Their tacos and margaritas are good. We get takeout or dine in when we don’t feel like cooking at home and it’s always hit the spot.

Love love love the food, everything was freshly made. The person serving us seemed to know everyone who visited the place, maybe small city vibes or he has an amazing amazing memory. The staff was super welcoming and patient, overall the vibe helped us continue our little happy day! Would recommend going here especially for the tacos and margaritas!!!

Excellent service and great food. We loved and enjoyed the food in our way back to our place coming from Oregon. Order tacos, the chicken mole, and drinks. Yum!

The hotel we stayed at recommended the restaurant. It was very busy, mostly with carry out orders. The serves was decent and food was average. Since there was no chicken dishes on the menu besides chicken fajitas, my wife created her own dish (see below).
