We were looking for a local joint so we didn’t have to travel all the way to Citrus Heights for our old spot and this did not disappoint. The food was so delicious and flavorful, I wish I’d been able to eat it all! The vibe was very relaxed and calm, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Pricing was decent and the price range is selected includes the meal, drink, and an alcoholic beverage. 10/10 can’t wait to go again!
My sister and I went here for dinner on a Friday night. Surprisingly, we were seated right away. Service was amazing! Extremely attentive and quick. Chips and salsa were delivered right away and our drink orders taken were too. The chips were good, but the salsa needed a tad more kick for my liking.
Couldn’t believe how fast our good came out. Both of us enjoyed our meals, I had the Compadres Burrito and my sister had the Burrito Supreme with carnitas. So why only 4 stars? Even though my Burrito tasted really good, I found the meat a little dry. Which I found very unusual because Chile Vedre and Chile Colorado should be simmered in the sauce and is almost impossible to dry out. I’m guessing they mix the sauce in when they make your plate. Which leaves the meat to sit dry until that time. Big guess, but I can’t see how else that happens.
Outside of that, it was a great meal and experience. I would not hesitate to go again.
We found ourselves needing a last-minute location for my baby shower due to unexpected weather, and this place truly saved the day.
With only about two hours’ notice, they were able to accommodate our party of 50+ people, prepare an incredible catered dinner, and provide some of the best service we’ve ever experienced. Everything came together so smoothly, and the staff was beyond kind, helpful, and attentive the entire time.
They turned what could have been a stressful situation into such a beautiful and special day for us. I’m so grateful for their effort and hospitality.
Highly recommend—this is the kind of place that truly goes above and beyond for their guests.Thank you-Rosales Electric
This is my favorite Mexican place in town. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is wonderful. You won’t be disappointed.
We were seated right away, though there was a bit of a wait before we could place our order. We gave our drink order to the person who seated us, and it took a little time to arrive.
Our waitress was kind and took time to chat with my husband about the Mexican restaurant business—and they even enjoyed a conversation about Spanish language, which made the experience feel even more personal.
I had the Chili Verde and my husband had the Carnitas—both were absolutely delicious! The pork was so tender it just melted in your mouth. The rice and beans were your classic Mexican restaurant style—simple and satisfying. A lovely return to an old favorite!
