Cardenas is my neighborhood market, I visit weekly. Today there is a horrible smell where the sodas are now placed. Near the fish area. It’s smells of rotten chicken.
Was not a good visit today, everything has moved around and the cherry on top was asking for chorizo and getting the stale, dry, hard bunch they have on the bottom. When I asked them to change the chorizo and give me fresh, then she grabbed it from the hanging bunch.
There is always only one cashier.
Something has changed and not for the better.

Walter is Manager along with someone else. Went there one day he was off work, couldn’t find more of product. I asked at least 3 female workers and they couldn’t help me nor the people they asked. All because of a language barrier. Asking if there’s more in back! Idk or a shoulder shrug. Anyway waited for Walter to come back, he was so helpful and got the job done. Only certain people can write a raincheck too, and just happened to not be available. My great Thanks go out to Walter at the Pittsburg store. He is awesome.

Do not order your food from this place if you actually need it delivered on time. I placed an order at 9:30 a.m. for delivery by 4:00 p.m. Throughout the day, I kept receiving text messages saying that my order was on the way. Then, at 3:30 p.m., I received a message stating that the order could not be delivered, with no specific explanation as to why.
I wasted the entire day waiting and was left without the food I needed to cook. This place is completely unreliable. I will not order from them again.

Stopped by today, first time. Fully stocked, clean and great customer service. The food court inside had some interesting plates. Couldn’t try any, but I’ll surely visit again soon and treat myself with breakfast! It looked good! Giving 4 stars since it’s a bit pricey but other than that, great súper market!
