My parents and I had breakfast at Canyon Creek inside Cache Creek Casino. My parents ordered the corned beef hash, and I ordered the waffles with ham.
The service was good, and our food arrived quickly. However, my waffles were very dense and tough to chew. I can’t really comment on the corned beef hash since I didn’t try it. Overall, the service was fine, but the food was disappointing.

Although they have a good service and atmosphere is very good too. I am not satisfied with the food I order which is a Filipino dish, the tocino is very dried and the taste is not freshly cooked, it’s taste like an old food. I frequently eat here I ordered the same stuff, but this time I was surprised to the taste of the dish I ordered, it’s very different from the past.

Overpriced, but it’s a casino, so you can’t really do anything about it.
Order the chicken fried steak. It’s amazing and probably the best deal on the menu.

Canyon Cafe is located inside Cache Creek Casino Resort. Menu includes American and Filipino dishes. The restaurant is open 24 hours. We dined around 10pm and there was no wait. The server was super friendly. We got out drinks and food within 15 minutes. We ordered Filipino dishes, longsilog (longanisa, egg, and garlic rice), bansilog (fried milk fish, egg, and garlic rice). The garlic rice was delicious and the fish tasted good as well.

They have Filipino breakfasts here. I was pleasantly surprised when you can order longsilong (sweet pork sausages) that are sweet and tender over garlic rice and egg. One of my favorite breakfasts to have. Every time I visit Sacramento/Woodland California, I make it a point to visit this cafe which is located inside the Cache Creek Casino. They have a great selection of other dishes but I go there for the Filipino dishes. Besides having a great breakfast you can relax and play a little. They do have a great ride to the casino and plenty of activities. Highly recommended!
