We checked in and were given a room in the rear, right off the parking lot. This might have been OK except for the noise coming from the nearby pool equipment. We requested a relocation and the host was so nice to help us find better accomodations in their sister B&B, Grape Leaf Inn, a couple of blocks away – – so overall, happy with that.
But I do not understand why the Camellia Inn does not invest in enclosing their pool equipment with a structure that will attenuate sound. This could be done almost as a weekend project. There are ways to baffle the air intake for the pool heater to minimize noise escape. It would, overall be a big improvement for the pool area which is in an otherwise beautiful setting, and for the inn itself as there are more than one room facing the rear and pool equipment area. If you like to sleep with fresh air-window open, there’s no way to avoid the noise.
Super cute Inn and a great location. Our room was very nice and clean, breakfast was delicious each morning. It was a great location to walk all over town.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Camellia Inn. The hotel was conveniently located within a short walk of downtown Healdsburg, but on a quiet street so we slept very well. We loved the Victorian charm of the building. Breakfast was lovely. We’ll definitely stay again.
Had a lovely 4 night stay at the Camellia Inn in December. It was a wonderful base for exploring the town on foot, as well as exploring the country side – hiking, wineries, and the coast. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was delicious (they even made us a special one for our early check out and left it in the fridge for us to grab), and the atmosphere was truly charming!
Loved my stay at the Camellia Inn! The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. I even received a room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The room was stunning and the inn’s location is great – only two blocks from the square. The whole place has warm, inviting vibes. You can really tell they care about making guests feel at home. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Healdsburg—I’ll definitely be back!
