The Ukiah Welcome Center is a great place to look for local attractions, events, and outdoor adventures. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Within the center, there are information about both local and other California destinations, clean bathrooms, and local wines for sale. Check out Mendocino Bounty inside of the building next to the center for other local gifts.
Got off to use the restroom and couldn’t find it, it was so far off the highway. A lot of traffic and stressful with no helpful signs in the city. Honestly unethical to post a sign on the highway for this invisible visitor center.
Went to the California Welcome Center but it was closed by the time we got there.
I expected it to be in close proximity to the state line at a rest area but it’s located downtown….. not so easy to find or get to so we never had the opportunity to go inside for information.
