This is the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy a beautiful sunset while having a great meal. The atmosphere is peaceful, the views are hard to beat, and the food was fresh and full of flavor. From the seafood to the steak, everything was cooked perfectly and the portions were generous. It was the kind of dinner that makes you want to stay a little longer and soak in the scenery. I hadn’t visited Woodley Island since moving to California, so we decided to make the drive over and spend the afternoon there. Stopping at Café Marina and Woodley’s Bar seemed like an easy choice, and we’re glad we did.

We opted for appetizers and drinks, and everything exceeded expectations. The calamari strips were perfectly prepared, tender on the inside with a light, crispy coating. The sweet chili prawns were outstanding, and the half-dozen oysters broiled in white wine and garlic butter were the perfect finishing touch. To round out the experience, we enjoyed a couple of Woodley Island Iced Teas, which paired perfectly with the meal.

A special thank you to the chef for clearly taking pride in their craft. Every dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Our waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit.

We will definitely be returning to try some of the entrées and daily specials. Combined with the beautiful marina views and relaxing outdoor seating, the entire experience was exceptional. Highly recommended.

It was a Monday, party of six adults, we haven’t planned to have lunch there but it was a great unplanned choice!
Most of customers were outside since the sky was so blue in a gorgeous winter day!
The service was very good, friendly and accommodating!
