We were at the casino for my partners work event and on our last night went to C2 for dinner. The food was great, a little spendy, but this is what elevated dining is now. Small portions, big price. But they did deliver on flavor. I got the fillet mignon paired with a cab sav and really enjoyed it. My roasted garlic was a bit under done so I enjoyed my partners. The bread basket that came out before the starters had a lot of flavor profiles and textures, breads and crackers, I love a carried bread basket. We got the smoked wedge and it came out under glass with oak smoke swirling, great presentation but as I come from a wild fire zone it tasted too much of smoke for my taste. The atmosphere was lovely and looked like there was plenty of seating, booths and tables. Our server was great and the floor manager even came over for introductions and a quality check. The steak house and the sushi place were the best dining options in the casino.

Our experience at this steakhouse was nothing short of excellent. Really nice place with delicious food! My G/F ordered a steak that was prepared to perfection! I ordered the most delicious and juicy porkchop I’ve ever had. Our sides were just as impressive; broccolini, garlic mash potatoes and sauté mushrooms!!! Definitely a hidden gem. Our host Zack Shoemaker was very attentive and had amazing recommendations. Highly recommend.

Honestly didn’t expect such a solid dining experience from a casino steakhouse but the food and service genuinely surprised us, in a good way!

My husband and I shared the 24oz Prime Angus Ribeye, cooked perfectly medium rare. It was juicy, tender and seasoned well. We paired it with a side of chimichurri, which was just okay and didn’t add much to the steak. The day boat scallops were also beautifully cooked, though I found the pineapple emulsion a bit too sweet for my taste.

For sides, the cheesy risotto was a standout. It was creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The roasted asparagus was a great complement to the steak, nicely seasoned with a good bite.

Appetizer-wise, the Caesar salad with real anchovies was a hit. I personally loved how heavily dressed it was. The soup of the day, a seafood chowder, was a bit of a miss. It was more potato than seafood, and while it came in a hot bowl, the soup itself was just lukewarm.

We wrapped up with the Death by Chocolate Cake. It’s super rich, decadent, and everything you’d want in a chocolate dessert.

Shoutout to our server Mani! He was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. And yes, they do take your players card. So if you’ve got comps, you can use them toward the bill, which definitely helps take the sting off the price tag.

Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back to try other cuts of steak and some of the other dishes that caught our eye. Solid spot worth checking out!
