Atrocious croissant, like something from 85° bakery if you’re familiar, more like pan dulce than anything. Certainly not French pastry dough. No origin for their coffee blends, don’t know what breve means, I commented on the Costco pastries and the girl tells me their sweets are “locally sourced” (technically true, but still deceptive) … Not sure where the menu came from, but 12 sandwiches and not one looked good. If you charge bourgeoisie prices I expect bourgeoisie service, do better.
Everytime I go in there there are no other customers, the workers are incompetent and cannot understand a simple request. For a simple bagel and drink I have to wait half an hour just for it to be messed up and have to be remade, once again with absolutely not other customers around. For the price of things it is not worth wasting my time on incompetent workers who make everything wrong.
It was great. The Barista was so friendly and we talked for a while. She said she was from Michigan and we are from Indiana so the talk was fun. Very good coffee and atmosphere
I come for the coffee most days. They make mochas just the way I like them (4 shots minimum) and the staff is always friendly and knows my order. The shop is pretty large so it doesn’t feel cramped or like you’re in a cave. Large windows for natural sunlight and views, and it’s right downtown.
Excellent coffee spot in downtown Ferndale. We had just finished the harrowing Mattole road adventure. The comfortable chair and hot coffee was a welcome respite.
