A Truly Unforgettable Sonoma Experience – Our Favorite Winery of the Trip!
Blue Rock Vineyard was hands down our favorite stop in Sonoma! From the moment my two girlfriends and I arrived for our girls’ weekend, our host, Carla, made us feel like absolute VIPs.
The experience was intimate, personal, and unlike any other winery visit we’ve had. Carla shared the rich history of the vineyard and the land, bringing the entire property to life. Every view was breathtaking—from the hares hopping through the vineyards to the stunning guesthouse available for rent, which looked like the perfect luxury retreat.
One of the highlights was our private lunch pairing overlooking the vineyards. We were treated to Jessica’s grandmother’s authentic Italian focaccia recipe, and it was so incredible that Carla even sent us home with some to enjoy later. It was honestly some of the best bread we’ve ever had!
The food was exceptional. The duck entrée was perfectly prepared, and the vanilla ice cream topped with homemade balsamic was an unforgettable dessert. Every wine we tasted felt thoughtfully crafted and truly made with love.
If you’re looking for an exclusive, elevated tasting experience that feels both luxurious and welcoming, Blue Rock Vineyard is a must-visit. Don’t pass this one up!

From the time I contacted Blue Rock the customer service was top notch. They took care of every little detail and they made my daughter’s birthday a very special one. Jeff was amazing and the property is stunning. The ambiance, the wine and the food were excellent! I can’t wait to return.. oh and the olive oil and balsamic out of this world! Never had balsamic on ice cream before but I will be using my Blue Rock balsamic on my ice cream going forward! Thank you everyone at Blue Rock for your kind hospitality. A true gem!

The whole staff offers a variety of well designed experiences from the wine tastings, winery tours, custom chef lunches, and even staying on site at the restored French style villa.

Experienced a wonderful tasting with Shelly when she was down south. I loved hearing about how the wine was made and the history of the vineyard. It is also wonderful to know they aim to have sustainable farming for their crops. There was not a wine I did not like when I tried them! I think Baby Blue is my personal favorite though, a perfect red blend. I loved the wine so much I ordered some, along with their own olive oil. The shipping process was quick and easy. My order was handled with great care and arrived to my door in great condition. I would love to visit the Vineyard one day if I am ever in the area. My friends who visited said it was beautiful.

What a perfect start to our wine weekend! Jeff created a unique experience for everyone – attentive and expertly knowledgeable. And the wines… the wines! We walked the grounds with the crisp whites and rosé as we heard stories about the history of the owners and the vineyard. Then, after we admired the landscape, we sat around the table and thoroughly enjoyed the reds. Thank you for sharing your time with us and setting the bar way too high for every other winery!
