I hosted 16 people for a birthday party at BJ’s, using their catering menu. It was easy to set up, and the staff members were amazing! Grace, our server, was especially great. She was attentive and helpful, and very cheerful and kind. Everything was ready on time with the buffet arranged well, and with everything I’d ordered. I couldn’t have asked for better service!!

Great layout and design. They were short servers and put name on waiting list. As we waited 3 parties went to host stand after us and walked right to a booth. I ask the host why those parties got to walk right in and that is when she let us know that you don’t need to wait to go sit in the bar area in which we have been told that before three other parties grabbed the remaining booths but luckily there was a booth that was open for us. We were told there was one server and we said that was fine while we waited the manager came over and gave us great service explaining specials and menu items in the whole thing very good. Replace the order with the manager and then our server came back and checked in with us. We got a calamari appetizer and I was hesitant at first because it was really dark brown instead of golden brown but it was edible as I was leaving I saw another party with perfectly cooked calamari. The clam chowder my wife got was very good the wood salad I got was also very good. I asked the waiter to have the kitchen put balsamic vinaigrette drizzle on the wedge and apparently he did not know what that was and it was balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing thought it was okay. We did get there pizza something cookie dessert with vanilla ice cream on top and it was excellent. Although our server forgot to put the whip cream on top that I had requested but not a deal-breaker. All in all we will go back because it was an overall good experience. However with tip the bill for our experience the tip was over $100.

My friend and I both work in the service industry, so we keep pretty unconventional hours. We were excited to find a place like BJ’s that’s open late during the week because it’s one of the few spots where we can relax after work.
We’ve come in three times specifically for drinks and pizookies. The first time, we sat in a booth. Our server brought our drinks and our pizookies, then immediately dropped off the check without asking if we wanted anything else. We had actually planned to order another round of drinks, but we understood that if we were one of her last tables, she may have been trying to close her section.
The second time, we sat in the bar area and had a great experience.
Last night, we came in around 8:30pm and sat at the bar again. This time, our check was brought to us around 9:00pm – before our pizookies had even arrived. Later that evening, we overheard a server talking to customers about management issues, which made us wonder if something else was going on. Still, this is now the second time we’ve left feeling like we weren’t really welcome to stay, or that we were being encouraged to leave after just one drink, despite planning to order more.
As people who work in hospitality ourselves, we completely understand wanting to get out on time and how challenging closing shifts can be. That’s also why we would never come in close to closing – we’ve always made a point of arriving well before then. We chose BJ’s because of its late hours, but unfortunately, after feeling rushed on multiple visits, we’ve decided it probably isn’t the right late-night spot for us anymore.

Our server, Brenda was amazing. We had a pretty big party and she was on top of everything. The food was really good. Everybody was happy. I had the prime rib and it was cooked perfectly.

The food here is excellent with an expansive Selection of dishes to choose from, and it seems to be expanding every week! My party has our usual server named Cheyenne who always remembers our orders and has a great charismatic energy about her, making for a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant itself has a relaxing atmosphere of tavern aesthetics everywhere you look.
