When I pass through Colusa I notice this place is always busy!

This is my first time here. I like that they have outside covered seating for humans and your fur babies!
They have indoor seating as well.

I ordered the 2 enchilada plate with rice and beans. I ordered carne asada meat and it was good. Plenty of food! Rice and beans were good as well.

They also have sodas and ice cold beer. Friendly employees ( thanks you Argelia).

They have been in business for 14 years according to the waitress and still going strong. They also have lunch specials.

Good place to stop!

The food here was notably good. I like the seasoning they put in their food, a bit different than many Mexican Rest.
It was hot temperature wise, and I was properly warned it was hot to touch. Portions were enough for a grown man on a “Portions Diet” to have two meals. I could have eaten it all, but shouldn’t. Color and presentation was above average. Some places look better than they taste, but this food was good in my opinion, and I will tolerate Chipotle, not a big fan. This was more authentic, and there were plenty of Hispanic Heritage patrons happily enjoying their lunch solo and with others.
The noise level was lower than normal, atmosphere compression at about 58-62dB. A quiet conversation would be easy. Staff was very friendly, and helpful and were genuinely concerned about my experience. They also pleasantly engaged in non-related conversation, to my surprise about Mexico and the local States to Michoacan. I would not hesitate to bring a date, family, or friends out for a bite here. Bathroom was passable, mostly clean, and the layout had all the necessities, but could use some additional space. Temperature of the Room was comfortable and I like rooms in the lower 70s.
I did take additional images, but the owner was not comfortable with my shutterbug behavior, so I will only provide images of the food as requested. It is too bad because the place had an authentic feel and decor I wanted to share. Anyway, If they respond with approval I will add images of the building and available drinks found inside. I also have an image of the bathroom so you can see the restroom facilities. There is free parking, Limited, but sufficient, and indoor and outdoor tables for eating, many folks sat outside. Location is easy to find, and another Approved Restaurant by myself for Good Grub.
I had the Enchilada Plate, with Rice and Beans. Horchata, and Flan.
Dinner was wonderful. Flan was a BIT too jellified for my liking. I would prefer more eggy firmer flan, topping was good, but for me, I would probably not order it again. Horchata was good concentration of Rice milk, which can be challenging, not watered down and not gritty, had right amount of ICE, but did have an added flowery or different hint of flavor not common in sweet horchata, Again, not really for me but some love that lavender kind of added hint. Not sure if that is it, but that is my guess. I would probably not order that again either, but others in my family would probably love that.
Prices were average for this type of meal. On par with others.
