We had a really nice and relaxing dinner at Bayside Bar & Lounge! The food was good, the beer was cold and the view of the marina and Tomales Bay are wonderful. The service was very good and they are super welcoming. Great location if you are going to or from Point Reyes National Seashore!
The restaurant was so good I left my first ever food review. Cozy atmosphere with a good view of the bay. Food was delicious. I ordered the Linguine and Shrimp and was licking the sauce off my plate.
I’ve been to Bayside 3x now, and I like it. This area is known for very fancy hyper local food and that’s great, but sometimes you want some really good fried chicken, or bbq, or just unfussy regular food like what Bayside serves.
So far I can highly recommend the perfectly seasoned fried chicken tenders, the smoked chicken plate, and if there is a bbq special like brisket or ribs, GET THAT! Tonight’s ribs were perfect.
Service is friendly, drinks are good (although hoping for a happy hour in the future), the bar is welcoming, and of course the view is perfect.
Don’t bother. Too much money for not enough food. Some of the food was good. But a bowl of soup shouldn’t be half-filled, and should come with a slice of bread. And when you order focaccia, it shouldn’t just be basically toated bread. And when you go to a place for oysters, that has oysters on the menu, and you order them, you shouldn’t have to wait until after you order to have the waitress come back to tell you they don’t have oysters. And an order of calamari shouldn’t be a small little sad collection. What a rip-off
Fabulous views of the bay old classic restaurant and bar. Lots of typical California tourist food that you’d expect done well, the fish dinner special is local and delicious. Cocktails are good. Bright, casual atmosphere with lots of game things to do.
