I called Barr chiropractic on Friday wanting to schedule an appointment. I informed them I was available after 1 and receptionist mentioned there was availability around 10:45am. She sounded upset they would have to wait for me even though their google hours say they are open until 5pm on fridays.
I show up the following Monday to my appointment- no one mentioned I was to show up 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork. No friendly smiles when you walk in.
I was seen by Dr. Barr and said he could not find any issues as to why my shoulder hurt. Little effort was made and his solution was to rub my forehead and said something about holding emotional trauma from family could be causing my shoulder pain. He did adjust something on my right leg but that was not the reason for my visit. I was in and out of that room in 10 minutes. He became irritated when I wasn’t moving my arm rapidly the way he wanted me to when doing initial mobility testing.
I was told I would be getting PEMF therapy during booking and no one said a peep.
Instead, receptionist put me on a foot scanner and told me I would have to wait for Dr. Barr to finish adjusting the person who came in AFTER me to further talk.
I walked out.
Extremely disappointed with this service.

Mr. Barr was rude, irritable, and condescending to myself and others during my time in his office. He also coughed numerous times on his hands and didn’t wash them but continued to proceed with his treatment.

I left worse than when I walked In. I shouldn’t have paid the $150 for nothing “literally left in tears”his review of my treatment was a complete lie and I feel ripped off. I only went to him because my current chiropractor is now retired. I wish I would’ve gone somewhere else. I want a refund that they will not give me. do not go here!!! Office manager Cathy should probably find a different job,what a rip off
In regard to Dr. Barr’s response to this review No one ever referred me to the emergency room this just goes to show the character that this establishment has…… boooooooooo sir!!

I have been a patient of Barr Chiropractic for about 9 years and seen both Dr Barr and Dr Rector. I love the treatment options available for whatever I have going on at the time. I receive regular chiropractic adjustments from Dr Rector who is kind and supportive. I received red light therapy for an injury I had some years ago and it was instrumental in the healing process of a complete recovery. I recommend this practice and also chiropractic treatment to maintain my health.

Dr. Barr and his office staff are the absolute BEST. Cathy is so awesome. Everyone here is chipper and focused on what they can do to help. I love this office and Dr Barr always blows me away at his detailed knowledge of remedies that WORK. I am one that gets skeptical if I don’t see results quick. I won’t go anywhere else. I LOVE BARR FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC- they do so much more than chiropractic care too!!!
