It’s only a Chevron gas station if that’s how you treat it.
The reward system there is real. Free banana with coffee!. That’s worth a visit. 9th coffee is free. That’s worth going back. The food off the grill is clean and tasty. I would go in in the morning and buy coffee and occasionally a burrito or a snack and the points accumulate so fast that I would go in and get a coffee and a free banana and redeem a bunch of points and get donuts and string cheese and discounts on to quality bottled water and gas. It’s just a Chevron gas station if that’s how you treat it.
I ate here when I was a kid, I’ve since moved away to Oregon, but the memory of those Street tacos with steak lives on in my memory. They were so good that I crave them all the time!! Seriously good tacos!
When they were reliably open I ate here more. The prices of the food are actually pretty high but the convenience was nearly unbeatable.
Now that they close at 1:30, I haven’t been able to even grab a bite. I usually eat a late lunch.
Veggie super burrito was my go to. Chicken taquitos are also good.
Always good fresh food at reasonable prices. Great variety of salsas from hot to mild. Staff are personable and helpful. Who would think gas station Mexican food could be so good?
The food is okay, pretty tasty and satisfying. Their prices have gone up a few times over the years and it’s not that great of a deal for mediocre Mexican food. Most of the time you might get better food at Nacho Mama a locally owned burrito place just around the corner. That said I’ll eat here from time to time just for a change and would recommend the border burrito that has french fries in it.
