The pizza and beverages were excellent (chef’s special, a sort of ham pizza with white sauce, delicious). Service was friendly and fast. Only “weakness” is that it is a family place and so was full of kids including the family in the next both with one kid standing up in the booth, stomping on the bench. I suppose that that is kind of on me for going to a family pizza place and not anticipating high spirited kids. But I do wish the kid’s parents could have kept him a touch more under control.
Great Mother’s day brunch!
Our party enjoyed the kids breakfast, the double stack choco chip pancakes, two orders of Huevos Rancheros, and the eggs Benedict. Everyone was stuffed and satisfied. Great, friendly service, in the Hometown vibe with a who’s who of local patrons.
Enjoy some pro soccer, and MLB while celebrating mom!? Count me in.
I also hear they might be consistently offering breakfast on weekends….Rincon valley needs this!
5 stars all around.
This is such a great little community spot. I am dog sitting for a friend right now, and we walked here from their house. It was so fun! We stopped in for happy hour and grabbed a few drinks and some bites. It was reasonably priced, and we loved hearing everyone talk, it was clear that everyone is pretty local and connected which we loved. The drinks were good! The food was good- maybe on the pricey side though for what we got. We plan to walk back over at least once more while we are dog sitting. I would love to live by a place like this!
Homeslice! Kid friendly food but also really innovative for a casual date night or girls night out. The drinks are always on-trend, fresh, fun to look at and yummy. Emily has been our server and bartender on many occasions. She’s attentive without being obvious. She makes the best recommendations with ease, and she exemplifies “service with a smile” authentically. AND if you are lucky enough to be there on an occasion when the Ausiello family is there, that’s the cherry on top.
Headed to Homeslice after several friends confirmed the place was ready for a visit. Any new restaurant needs a few weeks to dial things in and I’m beyond glad we finally hit up the spot. Truly a neighborhood gem that deserves your time and attention. The way they split the bar from the restaurant area allowed me to actually spend time with my wife and kid and be present for the great meal we had. Had to try a few items; Kids Cheese Pizza, Kids Mac N Cheese, Pesto Bites, Popcorn Chicken, Asian Chopped, Chicken Sando and topped with Corn Medalions and split a Brownie Sundae split three ways to finish. Bonus: They serve their red wine in the best glasses to enjoy the actual taste. Good stuff Ausiellos! Well done.
