Andy’s is a great little store and offers great produce. I was told its been around for years and offers a better quality of items then your average grocery store. They have a small selection of meats. The store is unique and fits right into the groove of Sebastopol.
Andy’s Produce Market has some of the freshest organic produce in Sonoma County. This store also has wonderful a wide selection of specialty cheeses, gourmet foods, olive oils, natural foods, and wine. I always find what I need including all the basics in addition to the fantastic selection of natural and organic products. Family-owned grocery for over 60 years. They have a great coffee shop in the front of the store, check it out.
WHAT HAPPENED???!!! The entrees at Andy’s used to be hand made in the deli there. They had a good variety with delicious recipes and healthy ingredients. Not anymore. (See attached photo.) Not only do these taste awful, but 900 mg of sodium per serving is not healthy. And you can buy these same prefab entrées cheaper at Costco. A LOT cheaper.
Bring back the healthy foods that Andy’s shoppers have loved and depended on. Please!
(Regarding the owner’s response today to the review above that I posted yesterday, I am referring specifically to the house made dinner entrées. I walked all the way around the deli counter last week and found none. None.)
Really appreciated this market. Took me a minute to understand the layout. There are multiple vendors that share space. There is a taco truck, coffee shop, and meat market in addition to the store. Many great food options – get your gluten, dairy & soy free needs met. Option to pick up wine, cider, kombucha, beer if desired. Some pre-made items. There is a discount area for transitioning veggies. If you have not tried a Gravenstein apple, here is a chance.
Where to start? Best local family owned produce shop in the county bar none IMHO!
This wonderful produce market/mini market is about a 20 minute drive from where I live. I have recently started adding more fresh fruit and vegetables to my diet, but have become disillusioned with the supermarket produce and fruits, etc. Not only due to cost but quality and consistency .
All that worry goes out the door with a once a week trip to Andy’s produce! If you’re local, I’m sure you know and if you’re passing through stop in and pick up some of that stuff that’s good for ya!!!
