I came here with friends on a weekday, I could not believe how crowded it was! This place is super popular, and it’s easy to see why. The food is absolutely fantastic, unique sort of fusion, Mexican food, fresh and delicious! We loved everything we ordered. I highly recommend this place. The only thing I didn’t love was parking can be challenging, but I guess that’s to be expected in this area.
Delicious elevated Mexican cuisine representing the fare from all over the different regions of the country. Our server Ines was fantastic – warm and accommodating from the moment we sat down. We had a long table with all our friends and she quickly made sure we had all the tlayudas and tostadas we needed to open up our appetite. The same goes for the lively and warm team at this restaurant – warm, fast, and excited we were enjoying their restaurant.
We loved the aguachile – very colorful and elegant with fish roe added for texture. We ordered a great avocado with thick crunchy tlayudas that were made of virgin blue and yellow corn mixed together. Wonderful taste and texture as well. Finally we finished with a round of family style tacos. The fan favorite was the Tacos Alisios with wagyu – absolutely delicious. The pastor was a close second. Next time we look forward to trying the birria. The portions were grand and the tortillas handmade from the same high quality corn – not your average masa.
We loved this spot and will definitely be back! Thanks again to Ines and all who welcomed us here last weekend.
“Everything was excellent: the service, the food, and the atmosphere, and the drinks looked great. Although I don’t drink alcohol, the drinks were beautifully presented. I would definitely recommend this place.”
Beautiful restaurant with good quality food and well presented cocktails .
Friendly staff and cozy decor will take you the Mexico in heart of Menlo Park
So needed Mexican spot in peninsula
Looking forward to visit again soon
I had a wonderful lunch at ALISIOS and would definitely recommend it. The restaurant has an upscale Mexican dining experience with a beautiful, elevated, and welcoming interior. The wagyu tacos and oysters were both excellent, and the pineapple margarita was fantastic. I’m already looking forward to coming back for happy hour and trying more of the menu!
