The people at Adventist are great. However yesterday when we went to get our X-rays I asked if there was a long wait, since you cannot make an appointment for X-rays. I was told we were the next in line and it wouldn’t be a long wait. After waiting over and hour and 15 minutes I went an inquired again. At which point I was told it would be about another hour wait .
This was frustrating, especially since we were told it wasn’t going to be that long of a wait and now we were stuck, having already spent over an hour almost a half waiting.
It was frustrating to say the least.
My experience in the ER pertaining to a terribly painful leg spasm was above and beyond. Caring Staff, knowledgeable doctor and effective technics. I am grateful that during these moments of severe pain I was able to get quality care, tools necessary for recovery and informative materials for continued care and follow up. 5 stars all around grateful to all the lovely staff
It was pretty busy so it took me a long time to get seen. They were accommodating and helpful. The nurses was nice. And the doctor that helped me was a good experience.
I had excellent care from everyone, from my first contact in the Emergency Department on Wednesday to my discharge from ICU on Thursday. I had every confidence in the Doctors and trusted them completely. The Nurses were wonderful, very kind, efficient and extremely timely in all they did. All the Ancillary Staff were super caring people. I do not have a single negative comment to make about the care I recieved there and I never once thought I would have been “better” cared for at my normal Kaiser facility. I do not feel that the care I recieved at Adventist Health in Fort Bragg was lacking for anything. Even the food was good. I really appreciated them and am glad they were available when I needed attention.

The only nitpick I have is the communication between Adventist Health Mendocino Coast and Mendocino Coast Clinics. For some reason, the referral for my blood work never made it to Adventist Health. If I didn’t have a referral from a third doctor on hand, my blood work wouldn’t have happened. Personally, I think it is probably the Clinic having the issue, but I can’t say for sure. Everything else was great, it all happened quickly, I think I was only there for 30 minutes in total without having an appointment or anything like that. Even picking up the results only took a few minutes, even though the entire main parking lot was full and I had to park pretty far away. The walking from car to the door took longer than actually getting the paperwork.
