Dr Bowen is not only a very skilled surgeon but he is also one of the most caring doctors I have ever known. After my knee surgery he checked on me in the hospital in the morning and again at night before he went home. Mendocino county is fortunate to have him.

When I was like 8 years old Dr Bowen discovered that I had scoliosis which is curvature of the spine he recommended but wanted a second opinion for my age was so young I went to Oakland children’s hospital for X-rays and all of that long story short that braces didn’t help it made my spine curve worse. So by the 12 I had my operation done by Dr Bowen. I have never met a more understanding and caring doctor. And he is really great with children I know from experience I am 46 now in that man is excellent with children and he’s good at his job he knows what he’s talking about.
