Unfortunately, my 1st visit began with a 5 star review which I had posted originally as I was influenced to leave a review at the desk after my first visit with ortho Dr. Nhi a month ago & was in a great mood. I appreciate her willingness to help me, however, after my 3rd visit to this office yesterday afternoon (total 2 appointment visits to ortho, 1 visit to dental) I regret starting my ortho treatment without seeing the dentist 1st.
Originally, when I had called to book as a new patient, I was calling for dental & was asked if I wanted either ortho or dental, but knowing I did want to see both eventually, I said both. I didn’t fully understand that my 1st appointment I had booked was with ortho (my mistake) & since I was already there, I got a bit ahead of myself & was convinced to sign & get braces that day without the realization of how much more dental work would be required since they hadn’t booked me with dental yet. At the end of my ortho appointment, I was then booked with dental.
After seeing dental, I was more overwhelmed. The Dr. I met with for dental seemed more upset that I had already gotten braces before I had seen her due to the work that I needed. She kept saying, “it’s not easy, it’s not easy.” I’m actually not upset with her either at this point because if I had known the info I do now beforehand, I would’ve insisted I meet with dental first, but I stepped into this trusting that the professionals just knew what they were doing within the same building.
Long story short, after my visit with ortho yesterday & feeling rushed & generally just not cared about, I felt completely uneasy & went home crying feeling like I’m in a mess now so I went home to go over the contracts I signed so that I can get out of this treatment & that’s when I realized I was given wrong paperwork.
1 of the papers I had signed the day I visited dental was actually dated before I even stepped into the office & the name of the patient name says “Test2 C” so its a complete random piece of paper that has nothing to do with me which I was told was for “the cost of my wisdom teeth removal” that insurance doesn’t cover. Now the question is, why did they give me fake paperwork?
After reading more reviews, someone else had a similar experience concerning paperwork & now my trust for this office has completely deteriorated. I will be attempting to get a hold of a manager or corporate to see what my options are in cancelling my treatment all together that I just started 1 month ago for a total of $5,799 and having the braces removed because I fully regret this. I tried to be as nice & considerate as possible as a new patient to this office because I know everyone has bad days, but now I’m just scared for my wellbeing & feel completely uncomfortable going back there.

**ADDITIONAL NOTE – The office has tried to contact me since this review, however, I want everything in writing and they have no available email that I can find. I have 100% been scammed by this office. I have just received 2 notices in the mail from my insurance stating that they requested “deep cleaning” gum treatments under dental codes D4341 & D4342 when nobody even talked to me about this while I was there. I was under the impression that I was booked for a general cleaning which I cancelled because I no longer want to work with this office. They are attempting to fraud my insurance by requesting more costly services that they are not even performing or communicating with me about. I will be looking more into how to take care of this matter with corporate as well as my insurance as it is worse than I thought. I never approved of this!!!!

Staff here were wonderful and always professional. They helped me with setting up all my appointments and explained in detail everything and my options. Highly recommend this location over others. This location is very clean and they take good care of their equipment and instruments! Working in a hospital that deals with instruments and doctors, I can say this location does a lot to ensure their patients are always being treated with the best practices possible. Will always be coming back to this location.
