Staff were nice and friendly. The rooms were clean except the mirrors. Carpet did not feel dirty. The AC worked great. The mattress was decent (3/5 stars). The biggest gripe was the parking lot, it was dark and felt sketch.
The room was as expected and it was clean and functional, the staff were nice and helpful, the AC worked well and the area wasn’t too noisy. I had some concerns booking this place initially, but go in with the right expectation and it will be fine. The tram station is walkable, which was a plus. The pool area was nice and clean.
My only issue was the water pressure and the jet from the shower head. The pressure was bad and water was shooting in all directions. Not much to do in the immediate area, but it’s easy to commute with the tram.
What a beautiful hotel! From the front drive way with a lovely Spanish style fountain to the gorgeous inner courtyard with lawns, large trees and the pool& hot tub, and the rooms with big windows overlooking the courtyard, what a hidden gem in urban San Jose! The front desk lady Priscilla was super nice and helpful, and she got us off on the right foot here. The hotel also had an attached restaurant and bar with happy hour, and the breakfast buffet is all you can eat for a very reasonable $16, hot foods like eggs, bagels etc. We are visiting San Jose to see a play at the San Jose Center for the Arts, and this hotel is close to everything, including Willow Glen and the Los Gatos Creek bike trail. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!
Got a great deal on a room for a night a day before, room was very clean and versatile, bed was veey comfortable, though the sink didn’t drain at a normal rate, plus a stain on one of the towels left in the bathroom. But the place is very nice, the patio/ pool area was very nice to look at (Don’t forget your swimming clothes), and staff was polite, kind and courteous. Rabecca at the front desk was very helpful and I can’t thank her enough for giving me the time to go over the issues I noted above while checking out. Also, shout out to the folks working the Islands Grill restaurant attached to the hotel, very great service and especially helpful. Thank you all for a great stay!

We had a perfect one night stay. I would suggest guests be careful of the neighboring small park as there were some unleashed pit bulls there. They may have been with a person who was tent-living there but that did not make it safe, they had a bad fight with another dog the evening we were there, involving police, etc. But it’s not a bad neighborhood. Super cute neighborhood actually. Our room was just right and the place was perfectly quiet at night.
