My kids have been patients at Primary Care Pediatrics since we moved to Alameda in 2022, and we couldn’t be happier! Both of them see Susan as their primary care provider, and she is absolutely wonderful—caring, attentive, and so patient not only with the kids, but with all of my questions too. We’ve also seen Dr. Liang for sick visits, and she is equally fantastic. On top of that, the nursing team and front office staff are always warm, professional, and efficient. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!

My son had a well visit scheduled at 11 am. 4 days prior, I called because he had vomited but it turned out he just overate.

The morning of the appointment at the very last minute, the staff called at 9:30 am to say I have to arrive early at 10:45 to do a rapid covid test for my son and to call from the parking lot so someone could come out and do it.

I arrived at 10:45 and when I was parked, I called the office. It took 4 tries to get through, I was put on hold twice and got a voice recording once before I got in. By the time I got through and someone came down, it was 11 am, and they said they were now canceling my appointment because I would miss my appointment time since the test results would take 20+ minutes. What a waste of time!

This office is unprofessional and this is NOT the first time scheduling has been a problem. If you are not a busy parent and love to make multiple trips to the doctor’s office and not be seen, this is the place for you. If not, go elsewhere. Not to mention also that my son HATES coming here; he starts crying the minute we walk into the room. He didn’t react this way at the Oakland location. I am now finding a new provider.

I absolutely adore the Primary Pediatrics office in Alameda! The staff is amazing from the front desk staff, to the nurses, to the doctors and NP! They remember my boys and always get us in as soon as possible when either of them are sick. I couldn’t be happier here and I’m definitely going to continue coming here!!!
