Lovely and cozy lil place 🙂 Was thrilled to have found South Asian food near Hercules! Had the lamb biryani, butter chicken and garlic naan which was all wonderfully spiced with decent portions. the owner was also super warm and accommodating. Would absolutely tell our friends and come back again to try other stuff on the menu!

Just checked out Namak which is located on the former Zaiqa restaurant with my mother today. The service is great especially as new customers. Alongside how the quality of the food is top notch. The Lamb Biryani alongside the butter chicken I believe is packed with flavor. But other than that it’s a great hole in the wall spot in Hercules. So if yall wanna check them out feel free to for some good South Asian halal eats.

This place is so damn good!!!
Those of us that miss living near Indian-Pakistani restaurants like … Shalimar, Pakwan, Nan-n-Curry, Amber India, North India … get your fix here. We had the goat curry, beef kebabs and spinach paneer. All fragrant and layered and not flat. They are able to adjust spice level.
Need to support this place or else I’m back to driving to Dublin, SF or Fremont.

Amazing place! Food was great, ambiance is really nice, and service was super good as well. Definitely recommend this place!
