Great option for freshly made food, especially all the way out here on the east side of Oakley. The Edna Valley Sandwhich shop is inside of the Loop/Shell gas station, it’s a well needed location in the area right in between the Emerson ranch and Delaney park neighborhood hoods.
I love that I can walk from my house to grab some snacks, a drink or freshly made food at the sandwich shop inside of here. Super convenient. I tried the EVM Double burger as well as a side of fries and a mango drink which is all made to order, the burger and fries were pretty good and the order came out quick! The burger was a step above a fast food burger in terms of quality and comparable to something you’d get at your typical mom and pop burger shop the fries were seasoned and cooked perfectly, very good. I plan to go down the entire menu over time.
I took my order to go, but there is a seating area in the Loop convenience store next to the window if you so choose to dine in. I can see this place being popular with kids coming home from school to grab a snack, or something from the sandwich shop, I know no would have been all over this place if I was still a kid riding my bike to and from school. I hope people take advantage of the food options here, especially those who live nearby.
