The salmon cakes over salad is one of the best salads in bend! And the ahi nachos are incredible

The Location is just so so. Other restaurants around us were super busy I assume because people like them better. Service was slow. Having to order your own food at the counter is a little odd. But at least they delivered it to your table. It just took a long time. We had the Ahi nachos (don’t’t bother) shrimp and sausage was Spicy and plentiful, but my husband really wanted the shrimp Poboy and they were out. The watermelon and arugula salad is good but hard to mess up. And the fish and chips was just common. With so many other good options in Bend we probably wouldn’t go back.

Man I never leave restaurant reviews but I had to here. Sorry, lads.
I ordered $24 chip and I got about 20 cold fries. then my husband wanted to add Cajun seasoning for his fries and it was $3 for that and a ramekin of blue cheese. to our surprise, he didn’t get the blue cheese.
however, I know it’s not FOH’s fault, and they did offer to fix our issues like more/warm fries. Pros: FOH was nice, welcoming, and helpful. Great location to overlook the river. My mom loved the bay shrimp roll however!
Try it yourself, give them a shot. They are new and figuring stuff out and I have empathy for that. Best of luck but I won’t be coming back.

Went for the first time had high hopes wanted it to be great, the food was absolutely terrible. We got salmon, cakes and Alaskan halibut and chips, halibut and fish was 1 inch of batter, cold in the middle and just not edible. Salmon cakes were greens from a bag, thrown on a metal plate with soggy uncooked salmon cakes. We are so bummed because it’s a beautiful spot and another alternative and actually a spot on the river, but the food just needs to be redone completely, drinks only.

Big miss! Great location and they did a nice job with the restaurant design. The menu and food reminded me a lot of a food truck. I feel like this a the type of spot where you should not be ordering at the counter. $24 for the fish and chips didn’t seem worth it. Fish and fries were lack luster. Both needed some salt or seasoning but there was none at the tables. Having to eat with a bamboo fork didn’t help either.
