Walked in and nobody else was in the place. Ordered a super burrito and two tacos. Waited almost 40 minutes! Spent almost $40 and the steak burrito had ONE piece of steak and it was so gristly it was inedible. The steak on the tacos was chewy and bland. The salsa bar was a little dirty and several of the salsas were empty. The one positive is The young lady that took our order was very nice and friendly. Needless to say this was our first and only time I think we’ll visit this business

After bowling on a Sat. afternoon, in Pinole, Ca., we walked accoss the parking lot to this resturaunt.
Service was fast and friendly. Lots of seating. I had the 2 Cheese Enchilada dinner with the Red sauce.
The other 3 adults with me were telling each other how good their meals were.
I was silent, too busy to waste time talking because I was “in the moment” enjoying my dinner, eyes closed and loving the food.
There are cheese enchiladas and there are CHEESE ENCHILADAS!. ..this one was of the later catagory.
I need to say, first, I don’t care for Hot, Spicey foods at all. But my friends and family do. They love that stuff. So I always order the least spicey sauce. When asked ,”do you want red or green sauce ?”, I ask “which one is the least hottest?”, back. I always get an answer back like,” oh…the green is not hot”, and , msybe tp them, it isn’t, but to me, yow!…it’s hot.
When the waiter said “neither is hot” I’m thinking “yeah, right…” My friends look at me as I roll my eyes, in disbelief, and they all chuckle.
Well, I must say, the red sauce wasn’t hot at all . In fact it was slightly sweet and had a hint of ,maybe, pineapple or something. But it was fantastic! I polished off the whole plate. My friends comnented,” he must have liked it. I never seen him finish everything off”, …my response?
“BUUUUURRP!, Your wrong .

The pricing has become unreasonable for what’s being offered. Charging $15.95 for “super nachos,” then adding an undisclosed upcharge for carne asada, is frustrating, especially when that charge isn’t clearly communicated on the menu. To make matters worse, being prompted for a tip at checkout after that experience feels excessive.
The quality simply doesn’t justify the price. The nachos I received were underwhelming, essentially a single layer of chips with minimal carne asada. There was nothing “super” about them aside from the cost. Portion sizes have decreased while prices continue to rise, and the overall quality has noticeably declined.
For comparison, El Farolito, widely considered one of the best taquerias in California, offers super nachos with carne asada for under $10, with no hidden fees and consistently solid portions and flavor.
At this point, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere, including Masa Taqueria, where the value and quality are more consistent.
As a Mexican American, I take pride in supporting local taquerias, but this experience has been disappointing. If these trends continue, I believe many other customers will feel the same.

Will not be returning to this restaurant. I ordered the veggie grilled burrito and am very disappointed with what I received. When eating my burrito I bite into a coin and almost broke my tooth. This is very disappointing and a serious food safety concern.

WARNING the advertised online menu does not reflect what is posted in at their location. A shrimp taco listed online is $6.50,
in person cash price $7.98,
credit card price $8.22.
That’s $2 more than what is marketed on their web menu. What a way to bait in customers. Folks should call this out when ordering from them prior to paying to have them honor their false advertising.
Talk about a rip.
Another surprise is the ingredients listed.
The shrimp taco is displayed to be only cheese, shrimp, and coleslaw. When in reality it turned out to be a shrimp fajita taco (peppers and onions). Fortunately this isn’t the only location to get tacos at. Places like this are a dime a dozen in Pinole and the surrounding area.
