I ordered their Italian. I’m pretty confident the meat and cheese were microwaved. The hot sandwhich was unexpected and made it seem soggy. It’s a simple sandwhich drenched in Italian dressing and salty. It was quite small and the lettuce and tomato were also warm. The side of macaroni salad was small as well. I expected more and better for a $20 sandwich. It’s worth noting I did finish it.
Sprankles is one of my go to spots for takeaway. Chantel is amazing. You will usually see her working hard and making sure everything runs smoothly.
I love that you can call ahead and have your order ready, which makes it really convenient. They also have burgers, and they do a fabulous job with catering.
My favorite is the vegetarian sandwich, but honestly everything I have tried has been delicious and generous. Always a great experience.
Stopped in here for lunch while I was in town for work, the pastrami club was so good I actually went back the next day shortly after they opened just to get another one before I left town. Great place, got caught in the middle of a debate over the size and placement of lettuce on the sandwich between the owner( or if she isn’t the owner she should be) and her two sons and had a good laugh. Alot of places have pastrami sandwiches, very few have one quite as good as this( and this coming from a guy who travels constantly and checks out delis in every town I visit) and even fewer take the time to actually chat with you and see what you thought, might be a little while but I will definitely be visiting again and recommend you do to.
Loved the experience dining in this little deli. The decor and the music gave a nostalgic atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the dining area was clean. They even had a vase of fresh flowers on every table, which is rarely seen nowadays. We had a simple BLT on sliced sourdough with a side of fries and a small chicken and rice soup. The sandwich was packed with crispy bacon and toasted nicely. The fries were crispy and light. The soup was mild and not terribly salty, which was a nice surprise for me. Overall, it was a great lunch. We’ll be back again .
