The brisket sandwich was very good. The bread was the perfect thickness to make the sandwich. Brisket was good enough and the combination of options complimented it well.

Clam chowder bread bowl was fine. Chowder itself was nothing special. A little on the smaller size charging 14.00.

The bread is excellent here, so I’d definitely recommend if you are a sourdough fan.

Plenty of space, clean, and white industrial interior.

Store is clean and well kept. The star of the show is the bread. Its great and compliments the sandwiches well. Taste and flavors were great. End positives. First price is pretty inflated, with offerings at 4,6, and 8″ you may still be hungry but you are paying 10.99, 13.99, or 16.99 respectively before any add ons like chips or a drink. I can overlook it to a degree based on flavor but its hard to feel like you are getting your money’s worth at those price points. The 6″ is ok… but ill probably need a snack at some point feeling is real.
Worse yet is the customer service and ordering process. First, there is one register and one disinterested employee taking orders and explaining things to customers. Its tedious when you want to order and sit but the line is backing up. The ordering is …fine… it was far from friendly. I watched as the owner manager shut down people walking in and trying to talk to him. Ive been in twice and get the cold stare with the semi insulting please complete the screen… notably the tip… prompt from the cashier. I feel like with some changes to staffing and the process this could improve. I watched the same owner/manager genially add jalapeños to an order and farewell leaving patrons… so its not everyone all the time but… if you come to this location give yourself plenty of time and patience.

Came in late lunch. Got a “large” turkey on wheat. However, it wasn’t explained to me that the wheat is on sliced bread and the size option doesn’t change the actual size of the sandwich. Paid $20 for a basic sandwich. It was an okay, but should have been about $8 for a sliced bread little sandwich.
