Beef soup was tasty. Service was excellent. 毛血旺 was the good kind of spicy with rice(also lots bean sprouts if you love them). Plenty of eggs for three people in 农家一碗香. Beef was the best.
We came to this restaurant for lunch, and this will be our last visit.
We ordered several dishes, and one of them, the sizzling squid, took a very long time to arrive. When it was served, there was a huge amount of smoke, and several tables in the restaurant were coughing because of it. The server simply placed the dish in front of us, and we were so uncomfortable that we asked her to take it away for the time being.
To our surprise, she took the dish directly to the entrance. There were people constantly coming in and out, and there was quite a bit of dust around the entrance. We found it very difficult to accept having food handled this way.
What was even more disappointing was that my hand was accidentally burned when the dish was being served, and there wasn’t even an apology.
From the moment we walked in until we paid the bill, she had an unpleasant expression the entire time and gave us an attitude that felt very condescending.
I have seen comments saying that she may be the owner’s mother or the owner’s wife. If that is true, I would still like to advise the owner to take this seriously. Service is just as important to a restaurant’s reputation as the food itself. The service attitude was truly unacceptable, and I have already seen many reviews expressing dissatisfaction with this particular server. Please don’t overlook the customer experience just to save a little on labor costs.
At the time of this review, the restaurant is still in its soft-opening phase. The service was very welcoming, and it’s clear that they are working hard to establish themselves as another good option for Sichuan cuisine in an area with quite a bit of competition, including Ping’s Bistro, Little Sichuan, Shang Cafe, and others.
We tried Leshan Beef Soup, Lotus Leaf Wrapped Zhang Tea Duck, and Pan-Fried Garlic Yellow Croaker. Overall, they were enjoyable, although I think there is still some room for improvement compared with the high standards set by places like Ping’s Bistro and Shang Cafe. Since they are still in the soft-opening stage, hopefully the dishes will continue to improve as the kitchen settles in.
One of their biggest advantages, in my opinion, is the pricing. The prices are quite reasonable, making this a very cost-effective alternative to some of the more established Sichuan restaurants in the area.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience, especially considering that they have just opened. I certainly hope they succeed and continue refining their dishes. I would recommend giving them a try and deciding for yourself.

Food is very fresh, not precooked. Recommend the beef soup and taro chicken.
