Sancho’s is awesome, sometimes it’s busy but never had to wait very long. Cash only but there is an ATM but with a fee so come prepared. Food is great but sometimes inconsistent depending on who prepared it, sometimes my tacos come out totally different than the previous visit.

Food was as good as I remembered! We have not been to Sancho’s in years. I really like the grilled fish burrito. My wife likes the Cobb Salad with grilled fish (I like it too). The rest of the food is very good also. We had take out so I cannot rate the atmosphere fairly. Although, for casual dining it seems like a good place to eat in.

Had 2 great draft beers about 6-8 bucks per and steak Fajitas for lunch Sunday.
We love a cash only institution.
If you see reviews that the food it cold they’re ordering takeout, my food was perfect temp uon arrival
Fish tacos is probably targeted at folks who don’t know Mexican food. Ask the dude at the counter for recs.
Make sure you try all the salsas at the salsa bar. 10/10 variety.
I did walk 45 min to the place and the fajitas feeds 2 fosho fosho. Will absolutely return to try other things, esp since they do have off menu lengua.

4.1/10 Super Burrito Carne Asada
Paid $16 for the burrito. I guess the size of it was pretty decent, but nothing in the burrito tasted fresh. The thing I could taste the most on the inside was the guacamole. On top of that I think they use a taco mix on the meat to try to make it more flavorful since the meat is that bad. It made the meat SUUUPER salty as they tried to mask their laziness of cooking.
The meat was dry and chewy and was for sure made the night before and then just heated. The burrito came out in like 2 minutes there’s no way they cooked anything fresh
For $16 and cant make anything fresh? This place seems pretty popular but it has to be full of people with no standards for good mexican food. I had to use salsa to save the burrito and even then the salsa was below average
Dont think I’ll be back. I’d rather drive somewhere else on El Camino and go out of my way to eat somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend

Nice staff, great food, and reasonable prices for their portions. Music level and selection is nice and allows for conversation. Given the large portion size we opted to split it. They were kind enough to split it for us and wrap them individually…a very nice touch.
My only criticism is the payment by cash only, no credit cards accepted.
