I’ve stayed at Salvestrain Dr. Cane Vineyard several times now, and it honestly feels like a second home. There’s something really special about how family-oriented and welcoming the whole place is. You’re not just another guest there, you’re treated like you belong.
The bed and breakfast experience is top notch. Everything feels comfortable, relaxed, and personal in the best way. The food is incredible every single time, and the wine is just on another level. Sitting in their tasting area with a glass in hand is one of those simple moments you wish you could slow down and really enjoy.
The photos here show some of their wine bottles, and we’ll actually be showcasing their bottles at a graduation party, which says a lot about how much we love what they offer.
If you’re looking for a place with amazing wine, great food, and genuinely good people, this is it. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

We had a fabulous intimate tasting of incredible wines at Salvestrin today. What a treat and so refreshing to visit a true Napa Valley family winery! Hannah, our host and family member, was knowledgeable and very gracious! If you want a break from the corporate wineries, visit a long time St. Helena family winery. Also, the wines are scrumptious!

Lynn was fantastic! We talked wine, baking, and all things Salvestrin. This was probably my boyfriend’s favorite wine of the trip! Thanks for a great experience!

We had an absolute best time in the winery. We didn’t have an appointment, was only planning to buy a bottle quickly. But when we came in, Andy greeted us with warmth and made us feel so welcomed. He let us try different varieties and told us many interesting stories about wines. He was an amazing host and we had a great conversation. The unplanned tasting turned out to be a wonderful highlight of our trip to Napa. Their wines are so amazing that we ended up taking 3 home. Highly recommend! Only regret is we wish we would have been able to stay for longer!
