The Candelabra Redwoods were so amazing! I can’t imagine experiencing them in any other way besides being on a tour with Chris! He knows all the back roads and how to experience as much as you can in your tour time! His driving was excellent and I loved walking the trails with Brandon! They both knew so much about the flora and the fauna all around! You could drive there yourself if you have the right type of vehicle but you wouldn’t get the same experience as being with these guides! Thank you so much for a wonderful day that really made my trip!

I went on this tour last fall with my sister and niece. Chris is the tour guide and he made it such a fun day. We went to so many beautiful places, The Enchanted forest, Usal beach, beautiful streams. He is also very knowledgeable about edible foods we saw. He got us to this lookout right as the sun went down, it felt magical. He also explained how they were restoring the Redwood Forest. In my 56 Years this is one of my favorite tours.

I’ve taken two buggy tours so far and have a third planned for the Fall. This is an amazing way to see an area that is so very hard to get to. The Redwood Forest Foundation makes it easy, by taking you through the Usal Forest and allowing you to hike if you wish, or ride if that’s easier. The lunch from the Westport store is seriously delicious.
If you are a hiker who wants to get to a new area, a forager who wants to explore new spots, or a visitor to Mendocino county who wants to see spots with your family you could never have found on your own I highly recommend this tour.
