If you are looking for the best Indian food in the East Bay, look no further than Phulkari. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, but it’s the food and the service that truly set this place apart.
The Food
The flavors here are incredibly authentic and layered. We tried the Butter Chicken and the Lamb Rogan Josh, and both were cooked to perfection—tender meat and rich, vibrant sauces. The garlic naan was fresh out of the oven, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients in every dish.
The Service
What made our night extra special was the service. Our server, Aniket, was absolutely wonderful. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. His recommendations were spot on!
The Hospitality
It was also a pleasure to meet the owner, Aman. You can really tell he cares about his customers and takes immense pride in the restaurant. He goes out of his way to make everyone feel like a guest in his own home, which creates such a welcoming community vibe.
