Alberto is the best! My friend and I strolled into Original Joe’s Westlake on a Wednesday evening to grab dinner, drinks, dessert, and watch the Mexico vs. Czechia game. Thanks to Alberto and the entire team, we had the best time, food, and overall experience.

Even though the restaurant was incredibly busy—packed with people and with guests constantly walking in throughout the evening—Alberto never made us feel forgotten. He thoughtfully checked in on us, got everything to us in a reasonable amount of time, and was incredibly patient as I asked questions about different menu items. He even let us know that, although he was busy, we should simply flag him down if we needed anything at all.

At establishments like this that have such a high volume of customers, I honestly don’t expect service like this. I expect long waits and to spend half the evening trying to find my server. Not Alberto, though. He was kind, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable from beginning to end.

As for the food, I had the Pilsner and Joe’s Filet of Sole, my friend had the Golden Ale and Joe’s Eggplant Parmigiana, and we shared the butter cake with ice cream for dessert. Everything was chef’s kiss, including the bread and butter!

I would absolutely come back just for the service from Alberto. Five stars, always. You can never go wrong with Original Joe’s, and Alberto made an already great experience even better!

Been coming here since 2013 and the quality of food and service has been impeccable and consistent. Today, got a chance to try the weekday lunch specials and I think we will be back for more weekday lunch.

The chicken pot pie sells out quickly so make sure to plan ahead. Plenty of parking, make reservation because it does get busy during lunch and dinner time.
