My Daughter Ordered a salad with BBQ beef and rice. Opened it, and I watched her take a bite and then she noticed some green maggot looking bugs in it! She started throwing up outside her car, and took it in. They gave her money back and offered her something else to eat, she politely said, no thank you. Hopefully they fix the issue promptly,!

The food is good I have to admit it. I don’t like macaroni so they let me exchange it for More vegetables. I wished we had another store by village one closer to The new in and out burger in Modesto. The área That this Ono Hawaiian BBQ is located it’s not the nicest area. Besides it’s far away from where I live. I came to the mall so I was close by the reason I stop by.

For a quick service restaurant this was great. Yeah we waited a minute but whatever, it wasn’t unreasonable. Food came out piping hot, and was made well. Each entree had a serving of vegetables which is rare in the fast food industry, and their kids meals were perfectly portioned and also came with broccoli, applesauce, and apple juice. That mac salad alone will keep us coming back.
The dining room was a bit sticky, but again not in a disgusting unreasonable way. This is a fast food restaurant after all. The ice machine was broken, although the staff had it clearly labeled and made sure to get us ice before we left the counter. On that note the staff were very friendly, and seemed busy in the kitchen the entire time. They weren’t goofing off or having loud personal conversations or sitting around, they were there to provide good food, and since that’s my number one concern when going out to lunch, I didn’t mind an unbussed table or two.
