If you’ve ever been to a Nation’s, you already know the food is fantastic, and very reasonably priced. At the Moraga location the staff is equally fantastic, with a tip of the cap to Jairo.
You see, my Mom is in a nursing home just up the road from the restaurant, and she loves Nation’s milkshakes, so I pick one up for her 2 – 3 times a week. After my second visit, Jairo spotted me walking in, started a milkshake, grabbed the extra cup and straw I use, and had me on my way in 5 minutes.
And I’ve never said a word to him except ‘Hi’. So thanks, Jairo.

Nation’s Giant Burger in Moraga has a great location with lots of windows, making the space feel bright and inviting. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff was friendly, and the overall vibe was enjoyable. The food was decent but didn’t quite stand out for the price. Our meal for two came to about $50.49, which felt a bit high for what we received. Still, it’s a pleasant spot for a casual meal and worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Stopped by Nation’s Burger & Fries in Moraga and had a great experience. Everything came out fresh and hot. You could hear the patty hit the grill right after ordering, which was a great sign.
Cesar, who took our order, was especially polite and provided excellent customer service. The vibe was great as well. Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving a classic, satisfying meal. Open until 10 PM everyday, and until 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays!
