The team at Mariposa are great to work with. I am passionate about my garden, and they pay attention to my plan and work hard to make it real! It’s been great to have knowledgeable and caring help every month from Roberto and Kari, especially now that I can’t do as much gardening myself.

Since Mariposa designed and installed our garden in 2019, we have seen nature return. I never tire from sitting outside watching five different kinds of bees, butterflies, and all of the new plant life flourish. Who knew my formerly dead, hard-packed lifeless yard could be so entertaining. Even our dog enjoys exploring its endlessly changing colors and shapes throughout the seasons.

We had a wonderful experience with Mariposa! Very good at working through what we wanted (unusual plants, different areas of the yard with different heights), and we’re so excited to see how it grows in. We especially love the rock garden and how quickly it came together!!

I love my courtyard and backyard gardens from Mariposa! They totally changed the space and made it into something special. I love the way they laid the stone paths and birds visit my gardens now. I admire their work from my desk. They were friendly and considerate through the process. Hard workers. You’ll be glad you hired them no matter what space you want to improve—big or small!

Mariposa’s crew did a recent remodel of our back garden in Rockridge. We have been very pleased with the process (and outcome!) at all levels. The staff was attentive to our vision of the space and worked the design details carefully. The crew. handled all logistics well with a minimum of effort on our end. Everyone communicated well and made sure we were happy at each step. Some of the work was challenging, involving moving large stones and installing a fountain and rain garden. Mariposa handled all of this outstandingly well –with impressive technical expertise and aesthetic sensibility. The garden is gorgeous. Such a transformation!. Glad to have chosen this group.
