Went to this place for a nice family dinner, but i was disappointed the host was not welcoming she told us to be seated on a dutie table I had to ask her to clean it, and the entire time we were there she wore the same pair of gloves without changing after touching several surfaces, dutie plates, money and even her ears, hair. All the staff should be training about cross contamination when serving or preparing food.
If this was noticed with front line personal imagine back of the house.
My family got really bad stomachache after eating there.
Food was ok.

This place is a must try! If you like this kind of thing, its unique. Definitely not a cliche Thai restaurant. Food is thoughtful, well prepared, using fresh ingredients.
I had the crispy duck leg and my fried had the crispy chicken with pineapple. We shared the fried tofu app. All dishes were perfect. This is a destination restaurant for me and I plan on coming back to try all the dishes because the owner or chef here has a message and its tasty as hell!!

We ate here Saturday evening 5-24-26 at about 6 pm. It wasn’t busy. There were only three other tables present. Our waitress was unfriendly. ( She was the only waitress, besides a nice bus boy)
She was tired and disinterested. When she greeted us she didn’t even look at us. She never asked us if we liked our food or if we were enjoying it. I’m tired of vaguely hostile service from tired irritated people. We come in clean, well dressed, kind and courteous. The least one could do would be to match that. The pineapple crispy chicken was dry. Very little sauce and the chicken pieces were small. I know there wasn’t a complete chicken breast involved. It’s always scraps covered in bread crumbs. I’m tired of being cheated. Most restaurants in Benicia are clip joints designed to milk the customer and deliver as little as possible. This is why I generally do not eat at Benicia restaurants.
The prices were good here but the effort is low and the quality is mediocre. The quantity of protein is low. They cheat you on the meats to save money. You almost have to ask to see the chicken portion before it’s breaded and fried. But you know that’s not going to happen.

Avoid if you enjoy food with flavor and seasoning.
As a native New Yorker, I would say that NY has one of the best Thai food restaurants. I was in Benicia for Mother’s Day weekend and decided to try this restaurant and immediately regretted it.
Everything (duck fried rice, pineapple fried rice with ‘prawns’, Thai fried with ‘prawns’, and fried chicken) lacked flavor.
