We are older and don’t get to camp as much as we used to, and my hubby is a lung transplant recipient so we cannot go to the higher elevations. We learned of Lazy Horse through a YouTube adventurer’s video, and booked a stay right away. I’m so glad we did, it’s beautiful, right on the Klamath River with beautiful wild horses that roam freely throughout the park. Unfortunately our older trailer had a number of things malfunction or break. Julie, Dan and the groundskeepers are so wonderful, the place is immaculate and well-managed. We will definitely be back, this time with a newer, better trailer so we can spend more time enjoying it instead of managing various crises. The wifi isn’t great, but no biggie, just forces us to be off our phones more, which is actually a plus. Highly recommend!
This is one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at. Really nice sized, clean sites. Clean laundry/store area. Very friendly owners and hosts. Wild horses everywhere! Our site was right on the river. You can tube down the river for about 2 hours and get picked up. Not much else around but pure heaven! We will definitely be back!!
Amazingly huge concrete pad with large patio area. The angle gives you wide open views of the Klamath River and surrounding countryside. Very tame wild horses we so enjoyed watching. Very well maintained by the owners and staff. Fancy artwork in the laundry room and bathrooms. Super quiet. We got to enjoy being there for eight days!
The lazy horse RV Park was a great place to experience wild horses a great experience. Camping along the Klamath river.we stayed in space number 14 . We will be back soon..
I highly recommend it..

Didn’t plan on staying here but it’s reasonable close to the freeway and man is it worth the drive even if it wasn’t! What an absolutely wonderful RV park, I’ve never had a more screened and relaxing stay in another. Hearing the river from my window?! It was surreal. Another amazing part of this park is the wild horses!! They hang out all over around the park. Very friendly hosts and clean restrooms/showers too! Telling all my friends/family to save this place for their next roadtrip on the 5.
