Great place with warm, yellow cozy lights with brown wooden aesthetic. Me and my elder brother took Blackened Chicken Burrito Bowl, Buffalo Chicken Nuggets and Garlic Bread – all three were super tasty and unique. (attached pictures). The total bill was 41$ – worth the service, food and ambience.
The server was thoughtful and answered all the questions and also seemed like he was the only one handling most of the tables (not sure). Cashiers and Food Section seemed hardworking, friendly and attentive.
You would see a crowd of family, friend groups and couples, or work mates or BFFs relaxing after a long day of work. There were Televisions with Tennis Matches too and a separate Bar section too with heightened tables and big friend groups. There is plenty of parking outside.
Overall, loved it – I was here a long long time ago and I would visit again ✨✌️Thanks.

We both had the grilled trout and redskins potatoes. Very good food! Raul was our server as he doubled as a bar tender and did an outstanding job! Nice atmosphere with the FIFA on every TV.

This place is awesome.
We had just finished a 10 day cruise the day before and wanted something to eat for dinner that wasn’t in the heart of San Fran and Lazy Dog did not disappoint.
My wife and I started with drinks and a trio sampler….we opted for the bacon, cheese curds, and bao buns. The bacon was nicely candied with a hint of crushed red pepper and delivered a great smokey taste. The cheese curds were served with two dipping sauces; marinara and a kicking ranch (my term), and the bao buns were packed with flavorful and sauced chicken with marinated cucumbers and carrots and topped with sesame seeds. This trio did not disappoint.
For the main, she ordered the fried chicken and I, the bacon ranch burger with truffle fries…all off their $15 special menu…mainly because the trio and drinks were filling and we expected smaller portions…WRONG. I could only eat half the burger and the fries were killer.
My burger and fries….normally, I will order my burger medium rare and my fries well done and failed to do so this time….silly beers lol…but it was served perfectly cooked. The burger was well seasoned and dressed and the fries were crisp even after being covered in truffle butter.
The chicken was moist and the potatoes were buttery and all was seasoned well.
For dessert option, we both went for the banana pudding. It was good….not as good as everything else, but that could have been because because we ate them at the airport at 4am and they weren’t as cold as they needed to be, due to the hotel’s fridge….we will have to try them on our next trip.
Raul was our server and bartender. He was hustling as the bar got packed, but his service never waned and he and Jennifer, the manager, kept checking in on us.
We were sat near the kitchen and we both noticed something….it was organized and everyone had a job to do and did it well. The kitchen appeared to be sectioned off and ran very fluid.
Every server seemed happy and all were very polite.
Lazy Dog is very family friendly and dogs were permitted on the patio…a huge plus for us dog lovers.
We are looking forward to our next San Fran trip with family, and our return visit here.
For clarification….we drank quite a bit, so don’t let the “per person” cost shock you.

I really like Lazy Dog restaurants. They have a good menu with lots of different choices from the norm. So many things look interesting on the menu, it can be hard to decide.
The food was good and served hot and timely.
Unfortunately, I ordered a mocktail and asked to have alcohol added to make it a real cocktail and when they brought it I could tell there was no alcohol in it. The waiter, who was quite nice, told me he was sure that they had added the alcohol. After a few more sips I flagged him down again to let him know I was certain he was wrong. At that point he took it back to the bartender and found out that indeed there was no alcohol added.
When the correct to drink came out it was pretty good. No real recognition that they had made a mistake and didn’t listen to the customer on the first go-round, but not a huge deal.
I like the vibe at this place and plan to go back.
I would not recommend it for a romantic date, because it is so loud, but the rest of the time it’s a fun enjoyable place.
