Best Mexican in the entire East Bay – including Oakland. Shocked it is in Moraga. The most rich authentic horchata. California burrito al pastor can’t miss. 10/10

They take pride in their quality of meat, how well cooked it is, and the freshness of every ingredient.
Salsas are on point. Everything made comes from the heart, not from the wallet. Highly recommended. Worth every penny. Fish tacos are phenomenal from the very slight crunch, to the taste, then the rapid serotonin release. The portions are perfect and reflect the cost perfectly. The beers are excellent choices and compliment the food very well.

La Chamba tones down the flavors a bit from say, a taqueria in the Mission, but the prices are reasonable, the staff is great, you can fill in the gaps with the salsa bar, and it’s a great vibe in the middle of Moraga. It’s also clean and the food isn’t super greasy which I really appreciate. Our kids love it.

I found my Mexican go-to. Never been a fish taco fan but it’s a major hit here. I also tried the quesa birria&steak taco. Flavorful and just right. Hit the spot! Give it a try.
And quick service! Never disappointed. Muy bueno!
