We were looking for things to do while staying in the Fort Bragg area and came across Kayak Noyo, so we called and talked to Nicole to see if there was availability that day for walkups. She said yes and she also recommended we come later in the day that worked best for the tide. This was past their posted business hours. We are so thankful for her thoughtfulness and accommodations that allowed us to get out the same day and experience a great family excursion on the river. Give them a shot, you will enjoy floating the Noyo River! So much wildlife to be seen and memories to be made!

Incredible experience renting kayaks and exploring the Noyo. Such a beautiful way to check out the area and make a memory. Customer service was exceptional and the owners even went out of their way to come back after they closed to help retrieve my girlfriend’s family heirloom ring that had been forgotten in her life jacket pocket.

The location was great to start our paddle up Noyo river. It was nice to have good clean equipment to start our trip. The kayaks have good comfortable seats.

I paddled in the morning on the Noyo River in a 12 foot old town kayak. It was the perfect size for this quiet meandering river. The paddle was fiberglass and well shaped. The owner and his crew were very polite and helpful. They were easygoing and pleasant to talk to. Lots of birds including great blue herons, green heron, hawks, swallows, and sundry others. Afterwords Don even called a few hotels for rates and availability. Found a great deal. He even invited me to join them at the local pub later. Very nice experience.
