We had a wonderful stay at the newly remodeled Inn at Mt Shasta. You can tell they put a lot of design effort into the remodel. Not too much, not too little. Just the right amount of style, decor and amenities to give you a comfort feeling.
The room we stayed in, single king bed w/ living room seating, was large and spacious.
The bathroom is very nice. The water pressure in the shower is AMAZING! I could’ve stayed in the shower ALL DAY!
We highly recommend you staying at Inn at Mt Shasta, a dog-friendly hotel, right on the main road heading into town.
We give it 4 woofs! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was our third stay at Inn at Mount Shasta. We really enjoy this inn & will be back next month on our return trip! Very dog-friendly. Love the amenities, the refrigerator & microwave, and the room is always nice and clean and well cared for. Doesn’t feel like a motel. Feels much more like a nicer hotel!

I had an excellent stay at The Inn at Mount Shasta and would absolutely stay here again.
From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. I arrived a few hours before check-in, and they went out of their way to get me into my room early, which was greatly appreciated.
I also want to give special recognition to the housekeeping staff—the unsung heroes of this property. Every day I saw them working diligently, not just turning rooms, but clearly taking pride in making sure everything was clean, comfortable, and in tip-top shape. That kind of attention to detail makes a real difference and doesn’t always get the recognition it deserves.
Great location, wonderful staff, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. If I find myself back in Mount Shasta, The Inn at Mount Shasta will definitely be my first choice.

Great location nestled in the trees just off I-5 but far enough that you couldn’t hear the freeway at all. You can’t beat the cost and what you get. We chose this hotel due to location, significantly cheaper than the other hotels in the area and the excellent reviews. I am so grateful we did. We booked the last available room. It’s a very simple hotel – no pool or breakfast which I think keeps the cost down for those of us who are just traveling through. The room was really spacious, especially the bathroom. Everything was super clean and the beds were SO comfy. We had a small, unforeseen plumbing issue with the shower and the manager Shawn came in within minutes and fixed it…and gave us a huge discount for the night due to the inconvenience. This tells me they care about my stay. I also really appreciate that the owner responds to reviews. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful night’s sleep.

I was looking for a room just for the night and I found the inn at mt.shasta. Their booking service was very easy and convenient. When I got to check in,the front desk attendant Brandon was very friendly and was quick to give me my room information and local restaurant recommendations along with things to do. When I went into my room i was shocked at how clean and esthetically pleasing the room was. I was shocked because I’ve been to motels and they have never been like this place. They have a beautiful outdoor sitting area with a gas firepit that was amazing to sit by in the cold temperature of mt.shasta. the next morning when I checked out it was quick.
P.S. the water pressure in the shower was wonderful.
