The room itself was of a decent standard, but the price was definitely way too high for what the hotel offered. Prior to my arrival, I requested a nice room as we were on our honeymoon, and the hotel confirmed they would prepare one for us. However, upon check-in, I was assigned a room lower than the tier I had actually booked. Only after speaking with the staff was I moved to another room. Before relocating me, the staff asked me five separate times if I was absolutely sure I hadn’t touched anything in the room.
I decided not to let this unpleasant experience ruin our trip, but upon check-out, I asked when my security deposit would be refunded. The receptionist assured me it would be sent that same night and would arrive within 7 business days. More than 3 weeks have passed now, and I still have not received my deposit. The hotel completely ignores messages on Booking.com—only after a long time did they bother to reply, telling me to contact them via email instead. I sent an email and received no response either. I also filed a formal complaint through Booking, which they haven’t addressed either. Complete lack of communication and missing money that was supposed to be returned.

Great hotel with easy access to transportation and local restaurants.
My room was spacious with a great window that offered a lot of light, but had a black-out shade that blocked light wonderfully for sleep.
The in-room desk had plenty of room to work, and communal space in the lobby also had a lot of space , seating, and desk-surface area.
Parking is pricey, but guests who pay for the garage have unlimited in/out privileges. I only needed a car on my last day, and I was only required to pay for that day (not my whole stay).
My only complaint is the room doors opened and closed loudly–I was startled more than once because I thought someone was trying to open my door, but it was just the next room’s door.

We had an amazing stay at the IHG Golden Gate Bridge! From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Check-in was quick and easy, the room was clean, and the hotel had great amenities, including a full fitness center and indoor pool.
The breakfast buffet was amazing, and both bartenders we encountered were knowledgeable, friendly, and made enjoying cocktails at the bar even more fun with great conversation.
The location was also very convenient, with easy access to the cable cars and just a short Lyft ride to Fisherman’s Wharf.
My wife said she wants to stay here every time we visit San Francisco—and I completely agree! Great location, great service, and an overall excellent experience. We’ll definitely be back.

Room is smaller than expected, maybe because it was a corner room? But it was tiny, the luggage cart didn’t even fit through the door.
Service was meh, I have an off-road vehicle that was pretty tall and I was sure it fit the garage knowing the exact height of the car, however the clerk was adamant that it would. We tested it and it fit just fine. He suggested I park 3 blocks downhill… Also parking was way more than the parking garage next door which was also way higher.
Would I stay here again? No. The location is great in that it’s in the center of everywhere. The service was super lack luster. Super inconvenient parking that is expensive as hell. We’re a younger couple and just felt slightly taken advantage of.
We love IHG hotels and typically stay at IHG at all our trips but this one definitely missed the mark for us.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean. The staff was always friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The only downside was the breakfast. At $35 per person, we expected much more. The selection was very limited, there was no variety from day to day, and we didn’t really enjoy the taste of the food. We don’t think it offers good value for the price.
Other than that, we were very happy with our stay. We also appreciated that the hotel allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours on our departure day, which was very convenient. Overall, we would stay here again.
