Great place to rest or sleep just off the 101 south of Eureka! I’ve car camped there a few times. It’s clean,quiet, and lighted…big parking lot

These a few entrants in this year’s Kinetic Sculpture Race. Unfortunately, I was not able to see many entrants, or the field was small. Nice to see some creativity anyway. (The photo quality isn’t the best due to photos taken from a moving car.)

Nice place to stop and stretch, and look at the south bay. Watched cruise ship come in from here

This place is good to park at for 8 hrs. Legally, for tired drivers. Needs
Garbage cans, and some type of beautiful landscaping done to it. Good for walking your animals. Lots of parking, RV Parking, and Big Rigs, etc. Wouldn’t want to ever see it close!
